California Heath Insurance Plans at California Health Insurance!

California Health Insurance GraphicCalifornia health insurance, free California health insurance quotes, and California health insurance plans – these were the subject heading of an email I received from one of my billiards buddies, Annie Lastrilla. My pool player friend wants to find to know about health insurance and find such in the state of California. She wants to save money shopping for health insurance online and all. I can’t blame her, not one bit! After all, earning money nowadays is one tough cookie and saving a bit here and a bit there will certainly go a long way. And I kid you not!

Armed with my ever-reliable online search tools, I browsed the Internet computer network and came upon California Health Insurance. According to California Health Insurance, there are different types of health insurances available, e.g., corporate health insurance and individual health insurance. There are also short- and long-term health insurance options. Moreover, there are also health coverage options for certain medical diseases or illnesses.

A great feature at California Health Insurance is the availability of free online quotes for California health insurance. Such quotes are available for no charges at all. These quotations help potential insurance buyers understand the costs associated with getting a certain health insurance scheme or plan, which varies according to the requirements of the user. For example, some quotes are made for specific diseases while others targets a a complete coverage plan. And least I forget, the most important factor assessed by these quotes is the actual cost of the health insurance.

And last, but certainly not the least, California Health Insurance highlights the steps when applying for any online health insurance quotes, with emphasis on certain facts that need to be considered when doing so. Such items focus on the medical history of the family, number of people to be insured, et cetera. I guess California Health Insurance has got all the bases covered. Check out California Health Insurance and realize savings on health insurance!

Wheelchair Pool: Persons United for Self Help in Northwestern Ontario

Wheelchair Billiards GraphicMy billiards buddy, Jerry Su, sent me a great read to check out. The post, which comes from The Chronicle Journal, highlights wheelchair billiards, specifically, focusing on Persons United for Self Help in Northwestern Ontario’s (PUSH Northwest) annual wheelchair pool tournament.

It is one interesting read! Truly, a very worthwhile endeavor! And I kid you not! Kudos to PUSH Northwest!

Wheelchair pool offers different perspective on the game

PUSH Northwest was rolling in the dough Saturday afternoon during its fourth annual wheelchair pool tournament.

Persons United for Self Help in Northwestern Ontario (PUSH Northwest) hosted the event, which raises money to help promote awareness of disability issues, at Fat Cat‘s Bar and Grill in Thunder Bay.

Participant Carl Levesque has won the tournament twice and said he comes out for the fun and the support.

The 31-year-old has been in a wheelchair for 10 years as a result of an automobile accident.
“It helps people with disabilities to get out and have some fun,” he said.

A wheelchair hasn‘t stopped him from joining pool leagues in the city either. He has twice won his way to Las Vegas to compete in tournaments there.

Ronald Brunelle, 56, has used a wheelchair since he was injured in a workplace accident 20 years ago.

He said along with his family, pool has always been the love of his life. Though, he said, learning how to play from a wheelchair was frustrating at times.

“It was difficult for a couple years, but as I get used to playing in a chair I actually feel bad for the people who have to be standing all of the time,” he said with a laugh. “They get tired,” he cracked.

Brunelle said there aren‘t many advantages for pool players in wheelchairs.

“You‘re at the right height for eye level, but that‘s about it. But like anything in life you‘ve got to look at the positives. There is an awful lot of negatives, but it is great to be able to come out and play,” he said.

Anyone who wanted to play in the tournament had to play from a wheelchair, even if they could walk out of it at the end of the day.

“It gives them a good perspective of what it is like to participate in activities while in a wheelchair,” said Al Buchan, PUSH Northwest‘s treasurer.

Each player had to raise at least $30 in pledges or pay $30 to participate in the tournament.

Buchan said at the event that he had yet to count how much money was raised.

“We are a non profit agency so every little bit helps,” he said.

PUSH Northwest was founded in 1981. The organization acts as a voice for people with disabilities in the Thunder Bay region and works to remove barriers and promote inclusion.

Life Insurance & Life Insurance Policies at InsuranceLife Pro!

Insurance Life GraphicNoel Andoque, a billiards buddy, wants to know more about life insurance and life insurance policies. My pool player friend has been hearing about such for quite some time and would like to know exactly what life insurance is. To help him out, I browsed the internet computer network using the phrase – what is life insurance - and found a site that answers it all, InsuranceLife.pro.

From what I could gather at InsuranceLife.pro, life insurance is known as life assurance - the contract between the policy owner and the insurer. The insurer agrees to pay a certain amount of money, which would be provided to the insured or their family, in case of death or similar events. Such insurance claims may also include terminal illness or critical illness. In return of the amount paid by the insurer, the policy owner has to pay a stipulated amount of money which is called a premium. The premiums are payable at regular intervals or in lump sums. And did you know that some insurance companies also have options of paying for catering and other after funeral expenses? Yes, such options exist.

Now, with regards to choosing a life insurance company, there are a number of options. What is very important is that new policy seekers and prospective life insurance clients find life insurance firms with good records. And how to determine which life insurance companies are good? One way is to examine their records via accreditations. Choosing a company that has good accreditations from different federal sources aids the public in minimizing the chances of frauds and hoaxes. And it goes without saying that the chances of getting claims are almost assured if they are proved to be genuine. Thus, it is of vital importance that a good insurance company should be chose for life insurance. And I kid you not!

For more life insurance-related questions and all, visit InsuranceLife.pro. It is one good resource!
